PDIP Targets Victory In The 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada

JAKARTA - PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) is targeting to win in the 2024 Pilkada, including in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Cadres are asked to move and do not complain when doing winning work.

This was conveyed by the Head of the PDIP National Election Winning Team who is also the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP Adian Napitupulu during the Regional Working Meeting (Rakerda) of the NTT PDIP DPD in Kupang, Wednesday, July 10. In this activity, PDIP faction DPR member Ansy Lema was promoted as a candidate for governor of NTT.

"So the key to winning the simultaneous regional elections is fighting spirit. Move and don't complain much in winning the regional elections," said Adian as quoted from a written statement.

"If you suffer, rest the suffering," he continued.

Adian also said that cadres should not be complacent about the intimidation that might occur in the 2024 Pilkada. This is because the party bearing the bull symbol has a long history of going through a difficult situation like when the new order was ahead of the reform era.

"We've been through the most difficult and able to survive," he said.

Adian also reminded that winning the election can be done with a simple formula. The simplest voter theory is in favor of the people, so the people will side with you. It's as simple as that actually. Now fight directly to win the people's votes," explained the member of the DPR RI.

"With a good narrative and can be understood by the people, sometimes we back down. There are more English so that the people don't understand what we mean," concluded Adian.
