Students Victims Of Confinement And Torture Successfully Escape And Report Police

JAKARTA - A student became a victim of confinement in a building located on Jalan Pendidikan Raya, RT 03/14, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

Apart from being held captive, the victim with the initials MRR (23) also experienced persecution and a number of tortures in handcuffs by the perpetrators.

The torture and confinement have been going on for several months since February 2024. Luckily, when there was a gap to escape, the victim managed to escape and returned to his home.

According to Y, the victim's uncle said, as a result of the incident, his nephew experienced prolonged trauma.

"(The victim) was psychologically disturbed. He was also handcuffed every day (during confinement and torture)," he said when confirmed by VOI, Saturday, July 6, 2024.

To his family, the victim also admitted that he experienced a number of tortures such as swallowing, throwing gas, being hit by iron trash cans, being threatened with being stabbed by a knife and hot scissors, and delaying cigarettes all over his body.

In fact, the victim's genitals were also burned with a match by the perpetrator. The victim was also tortured by throwing a glass stake until it broke in the head.

The victim also got other violence by shaving her hair as long as she was, shaving her eyebrows bald, until she was covered when it rained until dawn in front of a building where the incident occurred.

MRR is also a victim of bullying by attaching a hetical cable to his hands and feet, then tied to iron until it becomes a spectacle for people. The motive for confinement and torture was carried out by the perpetrators due to car business problems.

Furthermore, the victim reported the incident to the Duren Sawit Police on June 19, 2024. However, until now, the case is still under investigation by the Duren Sawit Police.
