Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri admitted that she often poked fun at the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly, who is also a PDIP cadre. To Yasonna, Megawati was surprised that her cadres were often targeted by law enforcement officials.

This was revealed by Megawati in her speech on the taking of the oath of oath of office of the PDIP DPP board for the 2019-2024 term of service which was extended until 2025.

"Pak Laoly is laughing, I like to talk to him, (you) are ministers, what are you doing, you know? Our subordinates want it to be targeted," said Megawati at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Friday, July 5.

One of the cases highlighted by Megawati was the summons of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto by the KPK as a witness to the Harun Masiku case. PDIP felt pressured by the KPK because Hasto's personal belongings and staff were confiscated

Megawati emphasized that the KPK should not carry out its duties by ignoring the rights of citizens. Megawati also emphasized that the KPK was an institution that was established when she served as President.

"KPK it was me who made it. How could I not know the contents of people's stomach I made, you know. My MK made it. It's not that I'm arrogant. Ask, who made it. So I know the rules, how should it be, it can't be manipulated," said Megawati.

The fifth president then shared his experience of being summoned three times by law enforcement officers during the New Order era. Megawati admitted that she was not afraid to face the summons.

"Three times in the past I was called by the police, the prosecutor's office once. The person looks like a lot of people. The one who was called was laughing. I just sat down. And my inner mind, oh, I'm not sorry. Until I said, sir, please relax, sir. I didn't come here to be forced, it was voluntary. So you are afraid," explained Megawati.

Therefore, Megawati gave a message to Hasto Kristiyanto, who was recently summoned by the KPK. President Soekarno's daughter asked Hasto to obey the legal process to visit the summons.

"I told Hasto, 'You have the courage to come, right? To? Can you lose to me, I've had it up to 3 times, To'. 'Who is calling you? Ask his name'. "His name is Rossa," he said.

Megawati then reminded Hasto not to be afraid to face KPK investigators, Rossa Probo Bekti, who was said to have confiscated items that were considered strategic for the party from Hasto's staff, Kusnadi.
