Embezzled Cooperation Results, Former Fuji Manager Thrown Into Prison

JAKARTA - The police arrested Batara Ageng, the former manager of artist Fujianti Utami Putri alias Fuji on suspicion of embezzlement of money amounting to Rp1.3 billion.

"Batara was arrested for allegedly embezzling Fuji's funds," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Andri Kurniawan in his statement, Friday, July 5.

Andri explained, Batara embezzled Fuji's money from a collaboration with a number of brands (brands) and agencies reaching Rp1.3 billion. The money was not put into Fuji's account, but entered into Batara's account.

"Going into the account of the reported personal bank and the money was not reported and was not given to sister Fujianti Utami Putri. The total money is Rp. 1,312,997,100," he said.

Feeling aggrieved, Fuji reported Batara to the police on suspicion of Article 374 of the Criminal Code and or or Article 372 of the Criminal Code in September 2023.

After an investigation and investigation, the police finally made an arrest and made Batara a suspect.

"We have detained Batara. After we investigated the suspect, we detained him," he concluded.
