Peti Setiawan's Pretrial Lawsuit Decision Will Be Read Monday 8 July

The pretrial hearing of Pegi Setiawan which was again held at the Bandung District Court (PN), Friday, June 5, 2024, took place briefly, which was only 10 minutes. The verdict hearing will be held next week, Monday, June 8, 2024.

This trial was held at 09.26 WIB with the agenda of submitting conclusions from both parties, both the applicant and the respondent.

The pretrial hearing on the fifth day was again chaired and the sole judge Eman Sulaeman opened. When opening, Eman immediately asked the readiness of the applicant and the respondent regarding the conclusion file.

Then, both parties also submitted a pretrial conclusion to the judge. The trial lasted briefly for 10 minutes.

After that, judge Eman Sulaeman closed the trial. "The trial will continue Monday, July 8, 2024 at 09.00 WIB, with an agenda for reading pretrial decisions," said Eman.

Before closing the trial, Judge Eman Sulaeman had asked for input from both parties regarding the proceedings of the pretrial trial from the beginning to the present day. "Please, maybe there is constructive input or criticism for me while chairing the trial," said Eman.

Pegi's attorney, as the applicant represented by Insank Nasruddin, said judge Eman Sulaeman had chaired the trial objectively.

"We as petitioners think that Your Majesty is leading this trial wisely and wisely, really giving the parties the opportunity to explore every question," said Insank in front of the panel of judges.

Meanwhile, the defendant represented by the Head of the West Java Police Legal Team, Kombes Pol Nurhadi Handayani, said the trial was going well.

"We feel the trial is very good, Your Honor gives the applicant and the respondent the opportunity and rights, hopefully, Your Honor can decide as fairly as possible," said Nurhadi in the courtroom.

Judge Eman thanked both parties for their trust. He emphasized that he would not betray the trust.

"From the start I said, I had no interest in this case. I will decide objectively, there is no pressure from anywhere. I will ignore it even if there is," he concluded.
