The joint team is still hunting for an Arab citizen (WN) who is suspected of being YY's lover, a woman who was found dead in a Cipayung boarding house, East Jakarta on Tuesday, July 2.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman Sinaga, said the man was suspected of having a relationship with the victim YY. This was based on the statement from the foreign man's first wife.

"The allegation (of the victim's husband). It's still an investigation, whether he is married or not," said AKP Hotman when confirmed, Thursday, July 4.

AKP Hotman said, based on the information of his first wife, the alleged perpetrator fled to Malaysia.

"The information is like that (disbursed to Malaysia) according to the statement of the old wife. It's still being investigated," he said.

Until now, the police are still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of YY's death which was found naked in Cipayung boarding houses.

As is known, a joint team from the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro East Jakarta and Polsek Cipayung are still investigating the discovery of a woman's body in the bathroom of an indecost located in the Cipayung area, East Jakarta.

"Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya is backing up to deepen the discovery of this corpse, the investigative team is still working. Whether the discovery of the body discovery of a woman who died is suspected of a criminal act or not, it is being investigated," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi told reporters, Wednesday, July 3.

The investigation is still being carried out by a joint team until Wednesday, July 3. According to the testimony of the witness with the initials S, the boarding house manager, the location of the boarding house totaled 9 boarding rooms.

"The number of boarding houses is nine. It has only been filled with one boarding house occupied by the victim," he said.

Still according to the witness's statement to the police, victim YY has lived since May 12, 2024. Then on May 27, 2024, the victim reported to witness S, the boarding house manager that the victim would change houses.

"Then on June 30, 2024, the witness asked the victim again to confirm whether he had moved to the boarding house or not but the victim did not respond," he said.

Apart from witness S, Kabid also said that there were still other witnesses with the initials H. Witness H is the victim's neighbor.

"Around June 30, he found a man who came to the TKP, then about 5 minutes later the man left with a red crackle bag and a black suitcase. This is what continues to be explored," he said.

Kombes Ade Ary said the woman with the initials YY (46) was found naked in a room.

"This is still being investigated (information) of witnesses," he said.
