The Head of Cengkareng Police, Kompol Hasoloan Situmorang, explained that initially he received reports from residents regarding online prostitution in an apartment in Cengkareng. After an investigation was carried out, a woman with the initials C was arrested aged 17.
After being questioned, C admitted that he was forced by his girlfriend, MAH (18) to serve a masher in an apartment.
Hasoloan said the modus operandi of the perpetrators was to offer victims through the Michat application and open the Booking Order (BO) at a rate of Rp. 200-300 thousand.
"The suspect created an account. Creating a social media account, to offer victims to people to do BO," Hasoloan told reporters at the Cengkareng Police, West Jakarta, Wednesday, July 3.
