JAKARTA - One person was killed and four others injured in a Russian attack on the Kharkiv region of Ukraine.

Kharkiv district prosecutors said one person was killed and two others injured in an attack on the village of Borova which also damaged 10 houses, shops, and administrative buildings.

In the village of Ruska Lozova, two people were injured and 10 houses were damaged in the attack, Wednesday, July 3, early in the morning with two S-400 missiles, reported by Reuters.

Russia has repeatedly denied targeting civilians since launching a massive invasion of its neighbors in February 2022.

The regional governor, Syniehubov, said in June the attack near Borova village escalated as Russian forces attempted to attack logistics and investigate weaknesses in Ukraine's defenses.

Russia launched its ground attack to the north of the Kharkiv region in May, opening a new front in the 28-month war.
