After Killing Istianya's Life, The Suspect Called His Father Tells His Son-in-law Has Died

After killing Rizki Nur Arifahmawati (27), suspect Andika Ahid Widianto (26) actually contacted his father to inform him that his wife had died.

"The suspect called his father, that the suspect had killed the victim out of jealousy," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly accompanied by Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Burhanuddin to reporters, Tuesday, July 2.

The suspect then left the victim without doing anything.

"In fact, the suspect had time to check the condition of the victim to make sure he had died or not," he said.

After the suspect Andika confirmed that his wife had died, the suspect actually contacted his father to inform him that the victim had died.

The police said that this case was motivated by jealousy. The perpetrator accused the victim of cheating with another man until she was 2 months pregnant.

"The motive is jealousy. The suspect accuses the victim of having an affair with other people," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Tuesday, July 2.

Suspect Andika has been married to a victim named Rizki Nur Arifahmawati (27) since two years ago. From that marriage, the married couple have one daughter.
