JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Willy Midel Yoseph believes strengthening the four pillars of nationality is effective in preventing and preventing various types of public diseases, including those currently rampant, namely online gambling or gambling.

"I think these four pillars of nationality are effective, as long as they are practiced in everyday life," he said in Kuala Kurun, Central Kalimantan, quoted from Antara, Sunday, June 30.

The four pillars consist of Pancasila as the basis and ideology of the state, the 1945 Constitution as the state constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as a form of state, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika as the motto of the state.

The member of the DPR RI for the Central Kalimantan electoral district said that if the four pillars were really imagined and practiced in everyday life, then someone could ward off and prevent people's various diseases, including online gambling.

Willy admitted that he was concerned about the current rise in online gambling. Because the advances in information technology that are actually used for positive things are actually used for negative things.

Therefore, he hopes that the Online Judi Eradication Task Force, which was recently formed by President Joko Widodo, can move quickly to take action against online bookies. Thus, the community can avoid being destroyed by the gambling.

In my opinion, the most important thing is to hit the operators of online gambling dealers. They really damage the joints of the nation and state," he said firmly.

Previously, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) RI as well as the Head of the Online Judi Task Force, Hadi Tjahjanto revealed that online gamblers came from various backgrounds, ranging from police, soldiers, journalists to civil servants.

"For other ministries, there are TNI, Polri, and others. We have submitted the names to the head of the institution," Hadi told reporters after attending the Coordination Meeting (Rakor) for Briefing on Prevention of Online Gambling, at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 25.

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi said that the task force he led continued to make various efforts to eradicate online gambling.
