Jayapura Police Inafis Deployed To Investigate Death Of Jayawijaya Papua DPRD Member

PAPUA - Jayapura Resort Police (Polres) deployed a team of Indonesia Automatic Finger Identification System (Inafis) to reveal the deaths of members of the Jayawijaya Regency DPRD in Sentani.

NK (48), a member of the Jayawijaya Regency DPRD, was found dead in a hotel room in Sentani, Jayapura Regency on Friday, June 28.

"We hope that the death of a member of the Jayawijaya DPRD with the initials NK can be revealed whether due to illness or other causes," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Aryya Nusa Hindrawan in Sentani, Friday, June 28, as reported by Antara.

According to him, the victim was found in a hotel room by the hotel on duty because his stay time had run out but the victim did not come out.

"When found the victim was right behind the door or blocking it when the door was about to open," he said.

He explained that currently the body had been taken to the Bhayangkara Jayapura Hospital for further investigation.

"We hope to get confirmation as soon as possible that the death toll is caused by what, so that the family can find out the cause of death of the victim," he said.

He added that the last victim was seen on Wednesday, June 26 at around 23.00 WIT, after the victim was not seen until he was found dead in the hotel room.
