The police checked the activities of selling clean water from illegal groundwater drilling, PT Carpedien Dream Villa Bungalow, owned by a French businessman with the initials DV in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. As part of the shareholder of PT Carpedien, Maswandi admitted that he did not know much about the activities of selling clean water from the ground water drilling. However, for the legality of the sale of clean water, he knew there was no permit from the government. The activity took place after Maswandi invested in PT Carpedien. "So, I planted shares in PT Carpedien in 2012. At that time there was no groundwater drilling activity. Only in the middle of the road the commercial activity emerged, it was on the initiative of DV. For my year, the drilling permit did not yet exist, only that inn permit," he said. In the commercial activities of clean water from groundwater drilling, he said, PT Carpedien has three bore wells, two of which have stopped operating. Limited Liability Company (PT) Carpedien distributes clean water commercially to a number of inns in Gili Trawangan. In addition, during the momentum of the clean water crisis in the gili area, PT Carpedien took advantage of this condition by also opening sales stalls through the Ego Gili Trawangan office. In a report submitted to the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the NTB Police, reporters from groups of people also attached evidence of land water drilling activities without such permits. A French businessman with the initials DV through PT Carpedien Dream Villa Bungalow is suspected of carrying out groundwater drilling activities from his inn in Gili Trawangan. In a community group report, it was stated that DV through his company had been running the business without a permit since two years ago.

From the results of the reporter's search, at least five drilling points were carried out by PT Carpedien. The water produced by drilling is sold to a number of inns in Gili Trawangan.
