Make Sure The Licensing For Events Is Easy, The National Police Chief Follows Up On Jokowi's Directives: Manage Online, At Most 14 Days So

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo launched a digital application that facilitates the process of managing licensing activities. According to him, digitizing the licensing process is a follow-up to President Joko Widodo or Jokowi's direction regarding facilitating the bureaucratic process.

"With this digital service, event organizers do not need to apply for repeated licensing from one office to another, there is no need to go through a complicated process just to get permission," said Sigit in his remarks at The Tribrata, South Jakarta, Monday, June 24.

This licensing digitization is called not just moving the submission process from offline to online. However, cutting or simplifying convoluted bureaucracy.

Previously, the application for special licensing at the police took 14 working days. However, at the same time, the applicant can complete the entire series of permits.

"Currently, the event is just filling in the application form and completing the requirements documents online for related agencies, starting from the venue manager, the parekraf service, and related police units, and will immediately process licensing for a maximum of 14 working days," he said.

"Finishing the payment process in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 104 of 2023, licensing can be issued immediately and downloaded from anywhere," continued Sigit.

For now, the online licensing application system includes seven venues that are often used as locations for activities. All in the Jakarta and Tangerang areas.

Sigit said this licensing digital service had been implemented at 7 DKI Jakarta and Banten venues. Among them are GBK, Jiexpo Kemayoran, JCC Convention Center, and TMII

"Currently, digital services for organizing events have been treated at 7 venues in DKI and Banten as follows, including GBK, Jiexpo Kemayoran, JCC Convention Center, Beach City International Stadium Ancol, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Ice BSD, Community Park PIK 2," said Sigit.
