Central Java Police Chief To Sukolilo Pati Residents: Don't Create Your Own Law

Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi gave counseling on understanding and education about the law to the people of Sukolilo, Pati Regency.

"The law regulates the order of our collective relationship, Indonesia is a state of law and the law is the supreme commander who maintains order," said the regional police chief as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 20,

He asked the public not to judge the perpetrators of crimes or people suspected of committing crimes.

According to him, the legal process must be submitted to the police as law enforcers.

"It is not permissible for someone to be punished without going through a legal process. We must not create our own law," he added.

To the people of Sukolilo, the Kapolda appealed not to be afraid to report to the police in resolving any problems.

He also did not want the Sukolilo area to be labeled bad, because there are still many people who are in legal order.

"No longer Sukolilo is labeled negative. We will proceed with the legal process for those who violate it," he added.

Previously, a rental car owner with the initials BH was thought to have died as a result of being abused by a group of people while taking a car that had not been returned in Sumbersoko Village, Sukolilo District, Pati Regency, on June 6, 2024.

The police have named 10 suspects in the investigation of the case.
