LAMPUNG SELATAN - Dozens of hospitalized patients at Bob Bazar Kalida Hospital, South Lampung Regency, did not get a room and had to rest in an emergency bed.
Based on observations at the location quoted by ANTARA, dozens of patients undergoing hospitalization at Bob Bazar Kalanda Hospital were seen in hospital halls, using emergency beds.
One of the patient's families, Sudarya, said that previously the hospital had explained to the families of the patients regarding the entire room, and the hospital could not refuse patients.
"Because the patient was booming, we didn't get a room, all the rooms were full," said the nurse on duty yesterday, who was offered to be referred to another hospital, because the Bob Bazar Hospital had full rooms, we received due to limited time as well," said Sudarya, Thursday, June 20.
He explained that although the facilities received by the patients did not support them, for services from the hospital it was maximized.
"For services from the hospital, it's good, but yes, the facilities we receive are like this, they can only be treated in the hallway, because they don't get rooms," he said.
Meanwhile, one of the patients being treated in the hospital hallway, Rismawati, a resident of Palas District, said the hospital had informed about the full room at Bob Bazar Hospital Kaliada.
"If it's for comfort, no, but what can I do, said the hospital for the time being, it will be treated in the hallway first with makeshift facilities, because the room is full, later after there is a room, it will be moved immediately," said Rismawati.
According to him, the service provided by the nurse at the hospital is quite good. "For the treatment, thank God, it's quite good, there are no obstacles, and my condition has started to improve," he said.
Director of RSUD Bob Bazar, Kalida Reni Indriyani said the number of inpatient visits reached at least 3 thousand patients every month. Meanwhile, the number of beds owned is only 244 units. He hopes that the central order can provide assistance to at least 150 units of beds.
"We have 11 rooms consisting of VIP rooms, class 1, grade 2, and class 3, all of our rooms have 244 rooms, where we still lack around 100 to 150 beds," said Reni Indriyani.
