The General Elections Commission (KPU) scheduled the first re-voting (PSU) on Saturday, June 22 at polling stations (TPS) in Gorontalo and Ternate City.
This PSU was held as a follow-up to the Constitutional Court's decision on the dispute over General Election Results (PHPU) for the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg).
In KPU Decree Number 768/2024 concerning PSU Stages and Schedules after the Constitutional Court's Decision in the 2024 General Election, the KPU will execute the Constitutional Court Decision Number 143-01-03-29/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 and 01-01-05-32/PHPU.DPR.DPRD-XXII/2024.
The first decision was requested by PDIP and the Constitutional Court ordered the KPU to hold a PSU for the Gorontalo Regency DPRD Election (dapil) Gorontalo II at TPS 02 Tuladenggi Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency.

Apart from Gorontalo, the implementation of the PSU was also carried out at TPS 08, Tabona Village, South Ternate District. The case was filed by the NasDem Party.
For information, all follow-up actions of the KPU on the Constitutional Court's Decision are contained in the Decree of the Indonesian KPU Number 767 concerning Stages and Schedules for Recalculation of Post-MCC Decree; Number 768 concerning Stages and Schedules for Post-MK Re-Decision Voting; and Number on Stages and Re-voting Schedules and Recalculation of Post-MK Decree 769 of 2024, KPU has determined:
In the Decree, the KPU determined the date of June 19, June 22, June 26, June 29, July 6, and July 13 for all stages of recounting ballots and PSU for the follow-up to the Constitutional Court's Decision.
All PSU schedules are scheduled to be held on Saturday.
Previously, Sunday (16/8), a member of the Indonesian KPU, Idham Holik, said that his institution did choose holidays so that voters had the right time to come to the polling station (TPS).
"Saturday is a holiday so voters have the right time to cast their votes at the polling station," said Idham.
