17 Palestinians Killed In Israeli Airstrikes Last Night In Gaza

JAKARTA - 17 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in last night's airstrikes in the Gaza Strip by Israeli forces. Israel's deadly attack on the captured enclave entered day 256.

The medical team collected 13 bodies from the rubble of two houses belonging to the families of Al-Ra'ie and al-Madhoun that were destroyed in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported on Tuesday.

Another Israeli air attack on the Harb family home in the Bureij refugee camp killed at least four Palestinians and injured several others.

More Israeli airstrikes and shootings were reported in Rafah and Deir al-Balah, respectively in southern and central Gaza, as well as the Tel al-Hawa and Zeitoun environments in Gaza City.

Ignoring UN Security Council resolutions demanding an immediate ceasefire, Israel faces international condemnation amid brutal attacks that have continued in Gaza since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

More than 37,300 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, most of the victims are women and children, and more than 85,000 others have been injured, according to local health authorities.

More than eight months after Israel's war, much of Gaza's territory was destroyed by food blockades, clean water, and crippling medicines.

Israel is accused of committing genocide at the International Court, whose latest decision ordered Tel Aviv to immediately stop its operations in Rafah, where more than one million Palestinians sought refuge from war before it was invaded on May 6.
