JAKARTA - Hundreds of people in Gaza on Sunday, June 16 performed Eid prayers in the midst of destroyed debris and buildings. They performed Eid prayers in a gloomy atmosphere marked by continued Israeli aggression and the absence of joy at the holiday. Palestinian news agency correspondent WAFA, as reported via Antara, Monday, July 17, reported that hundreds of worshipers performed Eid prayers in various Gaza regions, on debris, in the remains of mosque buildings, and in the open, while carrying their children along. The common spirit of Eid celebration does not exist due to the relentless Israeli aggression that has lasted for nine months. The leaders of Eid prayers emphasized the importance of visiting the families of their relatives who had died, injured victims, and inmates to guard the relationship.

They emphasized the need to give happiness to orphans, as well as children who are injured and prisoners.
