Reviewing Embankments In Tambaklorok Semarang, Jokowi: At Least 30 Years Can Hold Rob

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reviewed the flood and tidal control embankment project in Tambaklorok, Semarang, Central Java, today. This project is also aimed at structuring fishing villages in coastal areas. "I think in a period of at least 30 years (the handlebar) can withstand the tidal wave that occurred," Jokowi said after a review quoted from Antara, Monday, July 17. The length of the embankment reaches 3.6 kilometers. However, Jokowi continued, the effectiveness of the embankment, which has so far cost Rp386 billion. "This “ Yes, this is just being built, later when it is completed it will be visible (effectiveness)," said President Jokowi. The Head of State estimates that the construction of the sea embankment in Tambaklorok will be completed in August.

“ It will be completed in August. If this is good later, the arrangement of the fishing village is good, later it will be replicated, it can be copied to other areas. At least there is an example first, ” he said.
