Ahead Of Eid Al-Adha, TMII Distributes The Sacrifice Of Two Cows To Sunan Kalijaga Mosque, Bambu Apus

JAKARTA - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) distributed two sacrificial cows in celebration of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri to the administrator of the Sunan Kalijaga Mosque located at the TMII Employee Padepokan Complex, Bambu Apus, East Jakarta, Sunday, June 16.

"There are two cows and you can see the type, if I was told the Javanese type of cow. This year, Alhamdulillah TMII can provide two cows," said TMII President Director, Intan Ayu Kartika accompanied by Operations Director Arie Prasetyo.

The handover of Javanese cattle was symbolically carried out to the management of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) of the Sunan Kalijaga Mosque. The sacrificial animals will later be slaughtered during Eid al-Adha on Monday, June 17, tomorrow.

Furthermore, the meat of the entire sacrificial animal will be distributed to the general public. Intan said TMII management as part of the Injourney Group, handed over sacrificial cattle through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to affirm its commitment to supporting and strengthening relations with the surrounding community.

"We hope that we will return to the essence of Eid al-Adha worship, in fact, it is more of our form of qurban with full sincerity and full of proof of piety to Allah SWT," he said.

The selection of the Sunan Kalijaga mosque for sacrificial animals to be sent is because the place does not only function as a place of worship, but also as a center for social and religious activities that are important for residents around TMII.
