Sharing Writing Books To Residents Like Gibran, Kaesang: Mas Gibran Who Imitates Me

Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep distributed a notebook with his name on it to residents and children in the Cempaka Putih area, Central Jakarta.

Seen, the notebook has the front cover that reads "teaching and reading crafts are my ninja road", and the name "Kaesang Pangarep" on the cover of the back side. It also says Kaesang's signature on the first page of the notebook.

This similar activity was previously carried out by his older brother, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who distributed notebooks when he visited the state elementary school in Surabaya, some time ago. At that time, Gibran shared a book with a cover with a picture of his son, Jan Ethes.

However, the youngest son of President Joko Widodo emphasized that he did not imitate his brother's steps. Kaesang claims that he has been distributing notebooks for a long time.

"I went first. Maybe it was Gibran who imitated me," said Kaesang when met in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Friday, June 14.

Kaesang claims that he has no political intentions from the division of the book. Although, at this time it is rumored that he will run in the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor (Pilgub) of DKI Jakarta.

"Yes, it's okay, it's a souvenir. Usually, you always bring things to share with the children here," said Kaesang.

On Thursday, June 6 last week, Gibran Rakabuming Raka distributed milk and notebooks to students at SD Negeri Margorejo VI/524 Surabaya. When going to say goodbye, dozens of students shouted Gibran's name from the second floor of the school building.

The notebook with the image of Jan Ethes distributed by Gibran has attracted the public spotlight. Responding to this, Gibran apologized if there were parties who were not pleased.

"I'm sorry, it's been around for the last four years," said Gibran at the Office of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Solo City, Central Java, Thursday, June 13.
