Facebook Post Disappears After Confiscation, Peti Setiwan Will Report Investigators To Propam

JAKARTA - Pegi Setiawan's camp alias Perong berencama reported West Java Police investigators to the National Police Propam. Reports regarding the confiscation of Facebook accounts.

"There are plans to report investigators to the National Police Headquarters Propam," said Pegi Setiawan's attorney, Toni RM, to reporters, Friday, June 14.

The reporting plan was due to the fact that after Pegi Setiawan's Facebook account was confiscated, several posts suddenly disappeared. Allegedly, the investigator deleted it.

"After the Facebook password was asked by the investigators, the posts disappeared. If they confiscated, the integrity should be maintained so that they have value," he said.

The plan is that the report will be carried out next week. However, the exact time cannot be determined.

"Probably (next week). Access is not illegal but if you delete or remove someone else's Facebook posts, is it justified or not? Let Propam decide later," said Toni.

The West Java Regional Police are said to have confiscated the Facebook account belonging to Pegi Setiawan alias Perong. The account was used as evidence in the alleged murder of Vina and M Rizky or Eky in Cirebon.

In this case, Pegi Setiawan alias Perong has been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Murder in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, and Article 81 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.

However, Pegi had stated that he had never been involved in the murder cases of Vina and Eki. In fact, he did not know about the case.
