NasDem Has Not Determined Cawagub, Ilham Habibie's Companion In The West Java Regional Head Election

Chairman of the West Java NasDem Party DPW Saan Mustopa said his party had not yet determined which candidate to accompany Ilham Akbar Habibie to run in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election.

"Until today, we haven't seen who we will encourage to become a potential companion for Ilham Habibie," said Saan, Wednesday, June 12.

Saan said that currently NasDem is building communication with other political parties (political parties), especially political parties supporting Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election. NasDem, he said, intensively communicated with PKS and PKB.

"We do continue to build communication, yes, we will build NasDem, PKS, PKB intensively. We have built intensively with PKS, it's just PKS who will be promoted later," said Saan.

Saan hopes that these three political parties can discuss who will be promoted as Ilham's cawagub companion.

"Well, the issue of who will be the cagub and the cawagub later, they will be negotiated. But until today we have not discussed it with the representatives," he explained.

It is known that the NasDem Party gave a letter of recommendation to the son of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia BJ Habibie, Ilham Akbar Habibie to become a Candidate for Governor or Candidate for Deputy Governor of West Java in the 2024 Pilkada.

The recommendation letter was handed over directly by the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh at Nasdem Tower, Gondangdia Street, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, last Thursday, June 6.
