JAKARTA - The police are still investigating the house of the success team (timses) for the prospective Lumajang Regent who was terrorized by an air rifle causing the window of a house with a hole in Krasak Village, Lumajang Regency, East Java (East Java).

"While I am still investigating and looking for information earlier on what happened," said Kedungjajang Police Chief AKP Maryanto to reporters in Lumajang, Wednesday, June 12, as reported by Antara.

"I want to invite all parties not to do things that contain violence, intimidation, and thuggery in the momentum ahead of the Lumajang Pilkada," he said.

He hopes that the campaign will be carried out in a good, cool and comfortable way through a battle over ideas, thoughts, and programs that can improve people's welfare.

"Let's take care of the shady regional elections, without intimidation and terror. We take care of the conducive atmosphere during the elections. All the candidates for leaders who are part of the Lumajang Pilkada are the best people Lumajang has," he said.

According to information gathered in the field, the terror incident occurred after the owner of the house held a political consolidation event to win the former Lumajang Regent who is familiarly called Cak Thoriq ahead of the 2024 Pilkada, even Prayogi had received a short message from an unknown person who contained intimidation.
