JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, said his party had evaluated the case of soldiers who committed suicide at Yonkes 1/YKH/1 Kostrad, Cimandala Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency. According to Maruli, he has a lot of debt, resulting in his own life. "Yes, indeed, if we look at this study (case, ed), he has a lot of debt. Maybe he doesn't know who he wants to tell, then that's what happened," said General Maruli at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12. In addition, the Army Chief of Staff also evaluated the unit commander who was the superior of the soldiers who died in the Infantry Division Health Battalion Unit (Yonkes Divif) 1 Kostrad. Including how to recruit these soldiers. "We are also evaluating how the commander is, how is the recruitment time, that's what we can do," Maruli explained. General Maruli admitted that online gambling has touched all institutions including the TNI-Polri. Therefore, the TNI Headquarters has appealed to soldiers to stay away from judolistic practices. The victim was found dead by a soldier who was on picket duty. Picket soldiers then reported the incident to the Yonkes Commander (Danyonkes) and Upper Command.
