KPK Asks For Additional Budget Of IDR 117 Billion To DPR

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) requested an additional 2025 budget of IDR 117 billion during a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR at the Parliament Complex, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 11. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, explained that the KPK's budget requirement in 2025 was IDR 1.3 trillion. Meanwhile, the KPK indicative ceiling is only IDR 1.2 trillion.

"So in this honorable forum, to the leadership of Commission III of the DPR and all its members, we hope that there will be additional budget proposals," Nawawi said in a meeting.

Nawawi said the additional 2025 KPK budget was IDR 117 billion to meet the needs of a number of programs. Namely the management support program and prevention and prosecution programs for corruption cases.

"Rp117 billion, details for the management support program Rp65.02 billion and the prevention and prosecution program for corruption cases Rp52.11 billion," he said.
