ASN teachers will receive an additional welfare of one basic salary, while professional allowances for non-ASN teachers are increased to IDR 2 million per month.

The President said that the budget for the welfare of ASN and non-ASN teachers was also allocated for certification activities for teachers in all regions.

"In 2025, there were 1,932,666 teachers who were certified by educators, namely 64.4 percent, there was an increase of 650 certified teachers compared to 2024," he said.

As part of the government's commitment to improving the quality and professionalism of teachers, as many as 806,486 ASN and non-ASN teachers who have met the Diploma IV (D4) or Bachelorship (S1) educational qualifications will take part in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program in 2025.

In addition, the government will provide educational assistance for 249,623 teachers who currently do not have a D4 or S1 degree to continue their studies.

As for the form of support for non-ASN teachers who have not been certified, the President said, cash assistance will be provided through bank transfers that are being designed with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to help this group.

"The number of recipients will be submitted in 2025. Now the BPS is being calculated and searched for, both the name and address exactly, who is entitled to receive these benefits," he said.
