JAKARTA - The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has prepared the inauguration of 76 students as members of the 2024 Heritage Flag-raising Troop (Paskibraka), which will appear during the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

"The number of Paskibraka to be confirmed is 76 people, consisting of 38 sons and 38 daughters representing 38 provinces," said Head of BPIP, Yudian Wahyudi after attending a limited meeting to prepare for the 79th Indonesian Independence Ceremony at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 10.

He said BPIP contributed to the success of the Indonesian Independence Ceremony at IKN through the recruitment of Paskibraka candidates.

Until now, said Yudian, the recruitment and selection of prospective central-level Paskibraka members has entered the verification stage by BPIP which is targeted to be completed on June 14, 2024.

After being declared to have passed the verification stage, as many as 76 Paskibraka candidates will start their education camp in Jakarta on July 12, 2024.

"Paskibraka's training involved coaches from the Permanent Garnisun Command I/Jakarta and Kodam VI Mulawarman," he said.

Candidates for the Central Level Paskibraka will depart for IKN for the inauguration process on August 10, 2024, via Balikpapan.

"The inauguration of Paskibraka will be held on August 15, 2024 at IKN, but for this date there are proposed changes that we are considering. If possible, earlier," he said.
