Suspicious Of A Backpack, Lanal Nabire Arrests Passenger KM Labobar Bringing 10 Packages Of Cannabis

JAKARTA - Lanal Nabire personnel arrested AT (21), a KM Labobar passenger carrying 10 packages of marijuana ready for distribution. AT was arrested when the ship he was traveling on docked at the Port of Samabura Nabire, Central Papua.

The Commander of Lantamal X Jayapura Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Ludi Prastyono said that AT was arrested on Thursday, June 6 night after members became suspicious of the backpack he was carrying.

"Members were suspicious so that they secured the person concerned and examined his luggage and found marijuana brought from Jayapura," said Danlantamal Jayapura in Papua, Thursday, June 7, confiscated by Antara.

He conveyed, from the report received, it was revealed that AT was not alone because there was a partner who also brought the suspect's marijuana, information was obtained that the suspect was not alone but that there were still friends of a husband and wife who also brought marijuana to be traded in Manokwari, West Papua.

"Personnel from Lanal Nabire are still monitoring the presence of couples carrying marijuana to Manokwari," explained Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Ludi, adding that after being examined by members, the person concerned along with the evidence was handed over to the Nabire Police for further processing.

"It is true that after being arrested, AT and 10 packages of marijuana ready for distribution were handed over to the Nabire Police for further processing," said Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Ludi.
