JAKARTA - Traffic on Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta is engineered starting from narrowing roads to diverting traffic flow until September 20, 2024. This is due to the construction work of Thamrin Station CP201 MRT Jakarta Phase 2A.

Work around the construction area of Thamrin MRT Jakarta Station, namely temporary traffic hacking and stockpiling of underground station areas, as well as preparation for the construction of entrances for 5 Thamrin Stations.

Traffic engineering during temporary trafficking hacking work and final backfilling, namely:

1. Currently until June 15, 2024a. Jl. MH Thamrin on the west side (City Arah) Starting from the front of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment Building (Kemenko Marves) to the front of the Ministry of Religion Building, traffic flow consists of 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic vehicle lane with Transjakarta.

In front of the Bank Indonesia Building, the vehicle lane consists of 2 lanes of regular vehicles and 1 mixed traffic (2+1).

For 1 contraflow lane that was previously on the east side of the work area from the front of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment Building (Kemenko Marves) to the front of the Bank Indonesia Building, it was abolished.

b. Jl. MH Thamrin on the east side (Block M Arah) Starting from the front of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building to the front of Thamrin 10 Food & Creative Park, the traffic flow consists of 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

c. Simpang Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon SirihArus traffic at the intersection of Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon Sirih remains the same as the current condition, where the driver can go directly to the west (Tanah Abang) from the east (Gondangdia), and vice versa.

2. Period 16 June 2024 - 15 July 2024a. Jalan MH Thamrin on the west side (direction of City) Especially in front of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment Building (Kemenko Marves), a reduction of 1 lane for the construction area will be carried out, so that the vehicle lane towards Kota becomes 2 regular vehicles and 1 mixed traffic.

Meanwhile, in front of the Ministry of Religion Building, it still consists of 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic (3 + 1).

The traffic flow in front of the Bank Indonesia Building remains the same, consisting of 2 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

b. Jl. MH on the east side (Block M Arah) Starting from the front of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building to the front of Thamrin 10 Food & Creative Park, the vehicle lane remains the same as the previous condition, consisting of 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic (3+1), except in front of Ex. Bangkok Bank consisting of 2 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

c. Simpang Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon SirihArus traffic at the intersection Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon Sirih remains the same as the previous traffic configuration.

3. Period 16 July 2024 - 20 August 2024a. Jalan MH Thamrin on the west side (direction of the City) In front of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment Building (Kemenko Marves) up to the front of the Ministry of Religion Building, it still consists of 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

In front of the Bank Indonesia Building, it remains the same as the previous traffic configuration.

b. Jalan MH Thamrin on the east side (head of Blok M) Starting from the front of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building to Thamrin 10 Food & Creative Park, the vehicle lane consists of 2 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

c. Crossing Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon Sirih Arus traffic at the intersection Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon Sirih east to Gondangdia and west to Tanah Abang which was originally 2 directions, will change to only 1 direction for the traffic flow Jl. Kebon Sirih from the west (Tanah Abang) to the east (Gondangdia).

The traffic flow on Jl. Kebon Sirih from the east (Gondangdia) to the west (Tanah Abang) is diverted. Vehicles from Gondangdia towards Tanah Abang are directed to turn around at the HI Roundabout or switch to Jl. KH Wahid Hasyim to avoid odd-even sections on Jl. MH Thamrin.

4. Period 21 August 2024 - 20 September 2024a. Jalan MH Thamrin west side (direction of the City) Starting from the front of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment Building (Kemenko Marves) to Bank Indonesia, the vehicle lane consists of 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

b. Jalan MH Thamrin on the east side (head of Blok M) Starting from the front of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building to Thamrin 10 Food & Creative Park, the vehicle lane consists of 1 regular vehicle lane and 1 mixed traffic (mixed traffic) on the east side of the work area.

In addition, there are also 2 regular vehicle lanes on the west side of the work area (contra flow). Thus, the total number of vehicles heading to Blok M becomes 3 regular vehicle lanes and 1 mixed traffic.

c. Crossing Jl. MH Thamrin Jl. Kebon Sirih Traffic Condition at the intersection of Jalan MH Thamrin - Jl. Kebon Sirih remains the same as the previous traffic configuration.

Meanwhile, the construction work for the Thamrin Station Entrance-5 will be carried out on 19 May 2024 - 20 September 2024.

The station entrance construction work (Entrance-5) remains at the same location as the current location, which is located in part of the Wisma Mandiri Building area to the pedestrian path on Kebon Sirih Street.

Pedestrians are directed to the temporary pedestrian path that has been provided on Jl. Kebon Sirih.
