MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution spent his morning cycling with his family. Bobby also invited his daughter, Sedah Mirah, to ride a bicycle while greeting Medan residents.

"Let's start this sunny day with positive and healthy activities such as cycling. However, stick to health protocols. Have a good weekend,” said Bobby Nasution via his @bobbynst Instagram account, Sunday, March 14.

Bobby Nasution uploaded two photos on his Instagram account. Bobby's wife, Kahiyang Ayu also joined the bike riding. Meanwhile, Sedah Mirah, dressed in yellow, was carried by Bobby Nasution. The Mayor of Medan greets residents on the shoulder of the road.

On Saturday, March 13, Bobby Nasution reviewed the normalization of the Sulang Saling trench in Medan. Normalization emphasized by Bobby Nasution is very important to prevent flooding during the rainy season.

"Saturday-Sunday or weekends are not an excuse to postpone the normalization of the Sulang Saling trench in Medan City," said Bobby.

In addition to normalizing the trench, buildings that are standing above the trench must also be moved immediately so that they no longer interfere with the drainage system.

"From my direct observation in the field, in the trenches that are currently under normalization, there is a lot of high and high sedimentation. As a result, if normalization is not carried out, it can only hold water for approximately 1 meter," said Bobby.
