Jabodetabek Weather Today, Sunny Cloudy To Rainy Wind

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a weather forecast for the Greater Jakarta area and its surroundings. Rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning will occur in parts of South Jakarta and East Jakarta from Sunday afternoon until this afternoon.

"Be aware of the potential for rain which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration in parts of South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon and evening," wrote BMKG on its official website, Sunday, March 14.

According to the BMKG's weather forecast, two other areas in DKI Jakarta, namely West Jakarta and Central Jakarta, have the potential to be cloudy. During the day, BMKG estimates that the area of North Jakarta and the Kepulauan Seribu is cloudy with light rain intensity.

The air temperature in Jakarta is estimated to range from 23-31 degrees Celsius with humidity levels between 75-90 percent. For Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi areas, moderate to heavy rains will last from noon to night.

Meanwhile, the weather conditions in Tangerang City at night are expected to be cloudy and sunny.
