Realistic Usung Ridwan Kamil, Puan Calls PDIP Ready To Cooperate With Anyone

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani responded to Gerindra's recommendation to run in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election. Puan stated that PDIP is realistic and ready to cooperate with anyone and any political party.

"We political parties, especially PDIP, are ready to cooperate with anyone, especially after seeing what the field map looks like," said Puan, Tuesday, June 4.

Puan assessed that the party must also be realistic in carrying out a potential cagub, including Ridwan Kamil. Moreover, the survey of the man who is familiarly called Kang Emil is still high.

"Yes, it must be realistic how to see the situation on the ground because each area is different, this is roughly the opportunity in which area," he said.

When asked about Anies Baswedan's name, Puan did not close the door. According to him, the former governor of DKI Jakarta should also be considered.

"It's also interesting, Mr. Anies," he said.

Previously, the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that his party recommended the former Governor of West Java as well as the Golkar politician, Ridwan Kamil to run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

"Well, then regarding the position of Kang Emil, Gerindra has decided and is given a recommendation to run in the DKI Regional Head Election," said Dasco.

However, Dasco denied that Gerindra's recommendations were different from Golkar's. Where Golkar ordered Ridwan Kamil to advance back in the West Java gubernatorial election.

The deputy chairman of the DPR is sure that Golkar will also provide Ridwan Kamil's recommendation to run in the Jakarta Pilkada.

"I don't think it's different, but it will definitely be the same, that Ridwan Kamil will be recommended to run in DKI Jakarta," said Dasco.
