JAKARTA - The selection for admission of officer candidates is over with the announcement of the results of the graduation from the National Police Headquarters and Panda Police Offices throughout Indonesia.

The non-commissioned officers will attend the Police Inspector School (SIP) education in Sukabumi, Saturday, March 13.

In the selection, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, paid more attention to the two Regional Police, namely the Papua and West Papua Regional Police, by providing additional quota to prospective students.

Previously, the Papua Regional Police received a regular quota of 41 people plus an additional quota of 205 people so that it became 246 people, while the West Papua Police received a regular quota of 47 people and received an additional quota of 103 people so that it became 150 people.

The increase in the quota was due to the results of the coordination and hard work of the Papua and West Papua Regional Police together with the Governor and Polri leadership at the National Police Headquarters to pay attention to non-commissioned officers in Papua and West Papua, especially Orang Asli Papua (OAP) (Papuan Native).

"We give our appreciation to the local government for giving support to the National Police who are devoted to Papua and West Papua, especially Orang Asli Papua (OAP) so they can attend Police Inspector School (SIP) education", said Head of Public Relations of the National Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono.

With the addition of this quota, it is hoped that students can participate in education as well as possible so that they can produce precise officers who are able to provide the best service to the community in maintaining the Public Order and Security Awareness Group (Kamtibmas) in their respective regions.

"Congratulations to the non-commissioned officers who have passed the education of the Police Inspector School (SIP) in Sukabumi, study well so that they can become reliable officers and can provide the best service to the community, and the state", said Argo.
