Food Providers Dragged Into New Suspects Of Corruption At RUSD Praya NTB

MATARAM - The Central Lombok District Attorney, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, named a new suspect with the initials BMA in the alleged corruption case at the Praya Regional General Hospital (RUSD). "This BMA suspect is one of the providers of wet or dry food at the 2017-2020 Praya Hospital," said Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Central Lombok Kejari, Bratha Hariputra in Praya, Monday. The determination of the suspect is based on the Letter of Determination of the Suspect (PIDSUS-18) of the Head of the Central Lombok District Attorney Number: Print-804/N.2.11/Fd.1/06/2024 dated June 03, 2024 An. The suspect's initials BMA as a provider of wet food and dry food at Praya Hospital 2017-2020. The determination of the suspect is a development of the corruption case of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) of the Praya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) which has sentenced three convicts. “Airanya Mantan Direktur RSUD Praya dr. Muzakir Langkir, Mantan Treasurer RSUD Praya Baiq Prapningdiah Asmirini dan Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen (PPK) RSUD Praya, Adi Sasmita,” katanya. The three convicts have been decided by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, according to the Supreme Court Decision of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 1319 K/Pid.Sus/2024 on 27 February 2024 against the former Director of Praya Hospital, dr. Muzakir Langkir. Supreme Court Decision RI Number: 1399 K/Pid.Sus/2024 dated March 7, 2024 against Treasurer of Praya Baiq Prapningdiah Hospital Asmirini and Supreme Court Decision RI Number: 1348 K/Pid.Sus/2024 dated 27 February 2024 against PPK Praya Adi Sasmita Hospital. "The corruption case was developed which then named a suspect BMA," he said. This suspect is one of the providers suspected of committing Corruption Crimes in the Procurement of Wet/Ring Food Materials at the Praya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) which is not in accordance with applicable regulations for the 2017-2020 Fiscal Year. The suspect's actions were detrimental to state/regional finances as reported by the Audit Results of the Central Lombok Regency Inspectorate Number 700/01/INS/RHS/2024/KH dated January 30, 2024 with the amount of state/regional financial losses for the alleged corruption case amounting to Rp 528,949,392. The articles of suspicion imposed on the suspect BMA are PRIMAIR : Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph (1) letters a and b, paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. Subsidies of Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph (1) letters a and b, paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

"Before the detention of the suspect is carried out, the Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Central Lombok District Attorney's Office first conducts an examination of the suspect to complete the case file," he said.
