The Riau Islands Regional Police thwarted the smuggling of 1,500 sand-type lobster clear seeds (BBL) from the Queen Port, West Java, to be sent abroad.

Dirreskrimsus Polda Kepri Kombes Putu Yudha Prawira said according to the perpetrator's statement, the lobster seeds were smuggled through the Pelabuhan Ratu, Lampung, Palembang, Tembilahan, and riding a speed boat to Batam Sekupang.

"The wages received by the perpetrators were Rp. 3 million, with Rp. 2 million already received and another Rp. 1 million will be received after the delivery is complete. "So we are still developing the smuggling of BBL, we are still looking for who other people are doing the same as smuggling BBL, because this is one of the protected animals," said Putu.
