2 Times Mangkir, AGO Summons Forcibly Founder Of Sriwijaya Air In The Tin Corruption Case

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has stated that it is possible that it will make forced efforts against the founder of the Sriwijaya Air Hendry Lie airline.

Because, always absent from the summons for examination as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of tin commodity trading in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) PT Timah Tbk from 2015 to 2022.

"Against the suspect HL, we will wait for what is clear is that we have already made a summons and of course later there will be efforts to be able to present the person concerned for examination," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Dirdik Jampidsus) Kuntadi quoted, Thursday, May 30.

Based on the investigator's records, Hendry Lie has been sent summons twice. However, none of them were filled with Sriwijaya Air's boss.

The Head of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana stated that if Hendry Lie was absent again on the third summons, a forced attempt would be made. Thus, investigators can get information in the tin corruption case.

"Later, if there are 3 possible attempts by investigators," said Ketut.

Hendry Lie is one of 22 people named as suspects in the alleged corruption case of tin commodity trading in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) PT Timah Tbk from 2015 to 2022.

In this case, Hendry Lie was charged with Article 2 Paragraph (1) and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.
