JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will question the General Chairman of the Congress of the Trade Union Alliance (KASBI), Nining Elitos, next week. This examination is related to the alleged violation of the health protocol from the workers' demonstration at the Horse Statue some time ago.

Nining's examination was based on a police report number LP / 235 / III / YAN.2.5 / 2021 / SPKT PMJ, dated March 9, 2021.

"Indeed, there is an invitation to clarify NE sisters on Monday (March 15), for us to clarify, for us to ask for information regarding the alleged violation of health protocols," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Friday, March 12.

The examination of Nining Elitos was because during the demonstration he was the field coordinator (Korlap). The investigation team will later clarify the permit for action.

"Yes, he informed the (demonstration) to the Ministry of Manpower and the DPR, but the implementation at the horse statue was about to march towards the State Palace," said Yusri.

Nining Elitos is reported under Article 169 of the Criminal Code and / or Article 160 of the Criminal Code and or Article 93 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine and Article 216 of the Criminal Code and or Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
