Transjakarta Opens New Route Of Klender-Pulogadung Station Via JIEP

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has added a new route to its fleet service. The service is the Klender-Pulogadung Station route via JIEP with the bus code 11W.

The Transjakarta service for the route from Klender Station - Pulogadung via JIEP (11W) operates every Monday - Friday from 05.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB.

"Transjakarta and JIEP are working together in providing public transportation services for the Klender Station route via JIEP (11W)," said Head of the Public Relations Department and CSR Transjakarta Wibowo in his statement, Monday, May 27.

At the Pulogadung service, 11W has a stopping point for Klender Station - Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai - Jalan Raya Bekasi - Jalan Pulolio - Jalan Pulo Kambing Raya - Jalan Pulo Ayang Raya - Jalan Pulo Buaran - Jalan Pulo Gadung - Jalan Bekasi Raya - Pulo Gadung Terminal.

Meanwhile, at the direction of Klender Station, this route has a stopping point at Pulogadung Terminal - Jalan Bekasi Raya - Jalan Pulo Gadung - Jalan Pulo Buaran (turn back) - Jalan Pulo Ayang Raya - Jalan Pulo Kambing Raya - Jalan Pulolio - Jalan Raya Bekasi - Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai - Klender Station.

Wibowo explained, this route has 58 stopping points with low-floor bus types that are disability-friendly. This bus operates on non-BRT lines.

The expansion of Transjakarta services with the opening of new routes is a priority for the government to increase connectivity and mobility in Jakarta.

"It is hoped that the community will be able to reduce the use of private vehicles and switch to using public transportation," he said.

As of early 2024, Transjakarta passed more than 4,300 rapid transit (BRT), Metrotrans, Minitrans, and Microtrans buses serving 236 routes and passing 287 bus stops.

On average, Transjakarta carries around 1.1 million passengers per day. Meanwhile, the coverage of Transjakarta services in the Jakarta area currently reaches 88.7 percent.
