Bobby Nasution Officially Joins Gerindra: Please Support The People Of North Sumatra

Medan Mayor Bobby Afif Nasution has officially become a cadre of the Gerindra Party, on Monday, May 20, 2024. After being accepted as a cadre, Bobby immediately received a member card from the Gerindra Party.

The sign card of Gerindra party members was given directly by the Chairman of the Gerindra Regional Leadership Council (DPD) for the North Sumatra region, Gus Irawan Pasaribu, to Bobby Nasution.

"Alhamdulillah bismillairrahmanirrahim, I am directly becoming a cadre of the Gerindra party today and thank God this registration was received directly by the North Sumatra Gerindra Party DPD," Bobby said in his statement, Monday, May 20.

Bobby also revealed the reason he chose to become a cadre of the Gerindra Party rather than other parties. Bobby admitted that he had received a lot of learning and support from the Gerindra Party and that he had the same vision and mission as Gerindra.

"Earlier I also conveyed a lot of input, a lot of lessons, many Gerindra members said that the character of a leader can be reflected, one of which was conveyed is how the Gerindra Party taught itself and basically the Gerindra Party and I have something in common," he said.

After receiving the Gerindra cadre card, Bobby Nasution also asked for his support from all Gerindra Party cadres. He will also bring the Gerindra party higher in the North Sumatra region.

"As a cadre, I ask for prayers and support. All Gerindra cadres, hopefully, I, who have just become a cadre, can bring Gerindra to be higher in North Sumatra and in the eyes of the national and international," he said.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the North Sumatra Gerindra Party DPD, Gur Irawan Pasaribu, said that the entry of Bobby Nasution as a Gerindra cadre would later bring the Gerindra name in the North Sumatra region to be even bigger. According to him, the Gerindra Party needs a young and qualified leader.

"We need a young person with great energy to build a better North Sumatra in the future," he said.
