CIANJUR - The Health Office (Dinkes) of Cianjur Regency, West Java, confirmed that Sindangbarang Hospital, which had been neglected for the last few years, was operating in the near future. Head of the Cianjur Health Office, Yusman Faisal, said that various preparations had been made, including the provision of medical personnel and specialist doctors assisted from the Pagelaran Hospital. Meanwhile, non-medical staff will open vacancies openly. "We are still waiting for operational permits, when it comes out, of course, it will be opened immediately with the hope that in the near future the permit will be pocketed because other readiness including medical personnel is available, it's just a matter of recruiting non-medical personnel," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Monday, May 20. The hospital, which was originally built by the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of West Java (Jabar) functions as an herbal hospital, but is planned to be converted into a class D hospital managed by the Cianjur Regency Government, by providing 50 beds for inpatients and various health polyclinics. His party has prepared various supporting facilities and infrastructure, including medical, health, and non-medical personnel, so that when the operational permit is issued, it can directly serve people who come for treatment every day. "We hope that in early June or July it can operate, so that people who are sick or check their health do not need to go far to the city center of Cianjur or Pagelaran," he said. Cianjur Regent Herman Suherma said the operation of the Sindangbarang Hospital was a form of regional government support (Pemda) in supporting the expansion of southern Cianjur into districts and making it easier for residents to get health services. "Segera beroperasi karena sudah lama dibangun tapi tidak digunakan, kami menargetkan dalam waktu dekat minimal pertengahan tahun ini, karena rumah sakit tersebut akan menjadi sarana atau fasilitas kesehatan utama menjelang pemerasan Cianjur selatan," katanya. He explained that one of the requirements for the expansion of proper health facilities, so that the operation of the Sindangbarang Hospital will support the acceleration of the expansion of South Cianjur Regency.

"This is a form of the seriousness of the main district to support the expansion of the southern region into an independent district, so that various services for the community will be closer, especially hospitals," he said.
