Routinely Send Durian Musang King To SYL Rumdin, Ministry Of Agriculture Pays Hundreds Of Millions

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) must spend hundreds of millions to fulfill the request for the purchase of the Musang King durian. The request came from Panji Hartanto, who is Syahrul Yasin Limpo's aide or SYL.

This was revealed based on the statement of the former Secretary of the Quarantine Agency, Wisnu Haryana. It is said, if there is a routine request regarding the durian Musang King.

"Have you ever not given or bought money used to buy durian?" asked the prosecutor during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday, May 20.

"Yes, I have," replied Wisnu.

"What is this duration?" asked the prosecutor.

Then, the prosecutor said that according to the records of the Quarantine Agency that had been confiscated, there were many durian purchases, the nominal amount of which reached tens of millions.

"What is this? What do you mean?" asked the prosecutor to confirm.

"Indeed, it's always a request, sir. Always a request submitted to quarantine to fulfill and once we send it, maybe at least 6 boxes," answered Vishnu.

The prosecutor then alluded to the purchase of the most expensive durian reaching Rp46 million. Wisnu immediately agreed.

"I see this, the biggest one is up to Rp46 million, has it ever?" asked the prosecutor.

"Ever," replied Vishnu.

"Only for the Musang King durian?" asked the prosecutor to confirm.

"Yes," said Wisnu.
