Three Victims Of The Plane Crash In Serpong Are Aviation, Engineers And Passengers

JAKARTA - The plane crashed at the Sunburst BSD field, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Banten, Sunday, May 19, containing 3 crew members.

"The three of them are 1 pilot, 1 engineer and 1 passenger. The three are still in the process of being evacuated at the scene," said Transportation Ministry Spokesperson Adita Irawati in an official statement, Sunday, May 19.

The plane crash report has been received by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation regarding the 2006 Cessna aircraft with the registration number PK-IFP belonging to the Indonesia Flying Club (Indonesian Aviation Association) which crashed in the BSD area, South Tangerang.

"It happened at around 14.30 WIB, Sunday, May 19, 2024," he said.

Currently, the NTSC team and the Aviation Inspector from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the local Police are still coordinating.

Previously, it was reported that 3 people died as a result of a training plane crash at the Sunburst BSD field, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Banten on Sunday, May 19.

"3 victims died. Two were still on the plane and one was lying outside," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary when confirmed.
