The Voice Festival Brings Back Indonesian And International Musicians, A Form Of Nuanu's Commitment To Local Arts, Culture, And Empowerment

JAKARTA - The Voting Festival, a musical and artistic event that is highly anticipated to be held again on 26-28 July 2024 in Nuanu, Tabanan, Bali. This festival also marks the official opening of the Nuanu creative area.

This year, the Voice Festival comes with an interesting header including the famous Australian duo Angus & Julia Stone, who recently released their latest album 'Cape Forestier.' Also present were Brandt Brauer Frick, electroacoustic ensemble, American alternative pop duo Neil Frances, and multi-instrumentalist from England, Youngr, along with Indonesian favorite musicians such as Ramengvrl and Yung Raja from Singapore.

In this third edition, the Voice Festival features multi-genre, inclusive, and cross-cultural line-ups, presenting a number of shows on nine different stages in Nuanu, combining world-class music with a commitment to fostering local arts, culture, and empowerment, a rich and immersive cultural celebration.

This announced line-up adds to a series of other well-known musicians who have previously been announced such as HVOB (lives), Giobbi LP, Deer Jade, and many more. Rows of diverse and multi-genre performers combine musicians, producers, and the best groups from across Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

Held on the coast of Bali which is amazing, the Sound Festival is not only a celebration of music and art but also a sign of the official opening of Nuanu, a visionary creative region in Tabanan, Bali. With an area of 44 hectares, Nuanu combines art, technology, and nature to inspire visitors. One of the goals of the presence of Nuanu is to make Bali a center of sustainable lifestyle and respect for local values, incorporating the island's cultural heritage while embracing contemporary artistic expressions.

Visitors to the festival will be presented with nine unique stages that are inspired by Indonesian culture and architecture. The series of events such as DJ sets at sunset on the seaside stage named Luna, the experience of the club in the immersive cave in Utopia, as well as exclusive performances at the Elysium, a church structure inspired building.

The main stage, Garuda, will feature spectacular light and sound performances or sounds, while the creative asylum place, Badminton, will host regional performances and recording sessions. Apart from music, participants can be involved in inspiring discussions as well as health and fitness programs.

Visitors can also explore various installations and artworks of interest inside the Nuanu area such as Earth Sentinels by Arthur Mamou-Mani's Daniel way and Tower of Bhuma, which combines a projection of a generative AI mapping with a goal ratio-inspired design.
