JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas asked all parties not to trust people who claim to be able to help or even guarantee graduation as students or official school cadets.

Registration for the selection of candidates for state civil servants (CASN) for official school channels in the 2024 fiscal year (TA) starts on Wednesday, May 15 to Thursday, May 13, 2024.

"It can be ascertained that it is a hoax because there is no deposit. Online selection through a computer assisted test (CAT) system that is transparent and accountable in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Jokowi," Anas said in his statement Thursday, May 16.

According to him, this opportunity must be used properly because the state needs future talents who excel to develop Indonesia.

The Ministry of PANRB has determined the approval of the formation in eight official school administrators with an allocation of 3,445 formations.

Anas detailed the official school, namely STAN State Financial Polytechnic, Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN), State Intelligence College (STIN), and Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics College (STMKG).

Next are the National Cyber and Crypto Polytechnics, STIS Statistics Polytechnics, Correctional Science Polytechnics, and Immigration Polytechnics and 22 official schools under the auspices of the Ministry of Transportation.

"The official school that has been given an allocation has certainly gone through a number of considerations, one of which answers the challenges of the times. For example, in STMKG, we face the challenge of climate change. In addition, also in the Cyber and State Password Polytechnic, digitalization is inevitable so we need talent, for example related to cyber security," he explained.

He hopes that official schools can maintain the quality and dignity of education in Indonesia by preventing bullying.

"So that it becomes a concern for all of us. There is no more bullying in the selection process or education process in all official schools because this has become the direction of the President," said Anas.

Regarding STIS Statistics Polytechnic, he said that this year he received 355 formations.

Anas hopes that STIS Polytechnic students, totaling 2,136 students, will continue to process themselves as future talents.

"Students of Statistic Polytechnic STIS must be a world-class data expert talent, master big data, be reliable about science data because it will all be a driving force for the nation's progress," added the former Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP).

Furthermore, Plt. Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti explained how STIS's learning strategy in improving the quality of human resources from STIS.

Amalia explained that STIS students were encouraged to take advantage of big data and data science to process data.
