Prabowo Appoints Rahmat Mirzani Djausal As Cagub Lampung From Gerindra

BANDARLAMPUNG - Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto appointed the chairman of the Gerindra Lampung Party DPD Rahmat Mirzani Djausal to run as a candidate for governor (cagub) Lampung in the 2024 Pilkada.

Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani asked all his party cadres to fight and join hands again to win Rahmat Mirzani Djausal as governor of Lampung for the period 2024-2029.

"Pak Prabowo Subianto has determined that the chairman of the Gerindra Lampung Party DPD Rahmat Mirzani Djausal is a candidate for Governor of Lampung in the 2024 Pilkada," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 11.

Muzani hopes that Rahmat Mirzani Djausal will be appointed as a cagub with the support of friends and relatives in villages or regencies and cities in Lampung Province.

"God willing, this is the beginning of Lampung towards a better blessing. Therefore, we respectfully ask that all party branches and legislative candidates (calleg) who fight for seats in this province from all levels, including the DPR candidates, let's fight again to win Rahmat Mirzani Djausal as Governor of Lampung," he said.

Muzani said that the Gerindra Party in the face of simultaneous regional elections in November will choose cadres and party leaders to become trustworthy people, who can feed their people and can create a sense of security for their citizens.

"In Lampung Pak Prabowo concluded that the person who is considered worthy of being the Governor of Lampung 2024 in the upcoming regional elections is Rahmat Mirzani Djausal," he said.

According to him, Prabowo chose Rahmad Mirzani Djausal as a candidate for governor of Lampung because he heard input from various elements of the public and community organizations (ormas) as well as religious leaders in this province.

"Hopefully Rahmat Mirzanj Djausal is an option that meets expectations, a better sense of optimism for the people of Lampung. Pak Prabawo is very confident that the loyalty of the people of Lampung will be proven again in November," he said.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Gerindra Lampung Party DPD, Rahmad Mirzani Djausal, hopes that the 2024 simultaneous regional elections in Lampung can produce leaders who can provide great benefits in Prabowo's leadership as president.

"Now the task ahead is to guard Pak Prabowo's presidency. Therefore, all cadres should not be disappointed with Pak Prabowo's expectations. Don't just watch, but also take responsibility for the success of their programs," he concluded.
