Third Mass Grave Found At Al-Shifa Gaza Hospital, 49 Bodies Evacuated

JAKARTA - The third mass burial was found in the medical complex of Al-Shifa Hospital. Officers evacuated 49 bodies.

Officers are still finding more bodies to date, and excavation operations are not complete, according to a Palestinian Ministry of Health statement reported by CNN, Wednesday, May 8.

"We expect to find dozens of new bodies," he added.

The ministry shared a video showing the handling of bodies from inside a hospital yard in Gaza City. According to the Ministry of Health, this is the seventh mass grave found in a hospital in Gaza.

In addition to the three mass graves found in Al-Shifa, a mass grave at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia and three mass graves at Nasser Hospital complex in Khan Younis were also found.

Gaza authorities say they have found a total of 520 bodies from the cemetery.

"We strongly condemn the constant crimes of genocide and murder committed by the occupational army against the Palestinian people inside and outside the hospital, and we call on all UN and international organizations to condemn this heinous crime," the ministry said in a statement.

We consider the American government, the international community, and the occupation of Israel to be fully responsible for this mass grave and the blatant aggression against humanity.
