Deputy Chairman of the TKN Expert Council Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Budiman Sudjatmiko opened his voice about the news of the addition of the ministerial nomenclature in the next government to 40 posts. Budiman said that the number of ministries was handed over to the elected President, Prabowo Subianto. However, according to him, even if there is no addition later, there could be only a reposition or merger of ministries. "The agency could be formed, for example, the ministry or ministry is repositioned, some are combined, like that," Budiman said when contacted, Wednesday, May 8. Budiman assessed that the discourse on adding ministries from 34 to 40 was due to many strategic programs launched by Prabowo-Gibran. One of them is free lunch and milk programs for children. Therefore, according to him, if the nomenclature of the ministry has taken care of the amount regulated by the law, the formation of a body or reposition can be a solution to take care of Prabowo-Gibran's priority programs. "If you have passed the number of laws, there are two possible ways. One, the existing ministries are added to their functions, or create existing ministries but the nomenclature is new. Then the old nomenclature is moved with other nomenclatures," he explained. For example, Budiman continued, the Ministry of Agriculture could be changed to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition. Or it could be, a combination of existing ministries such as the Ministry of Agriculture combined with the Ministry of Forestry. "The problem is that food and nutrition are needed, it could be the ministry of food and nutrition. Or it could be that the ministry of agriculture is replaced by the ministry of food and nutrition agriculture. Then agriculture is combined, for example with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, forestry and agriculture, but forestry and agriculture can be food and nutrition," he said.

"So, the matter of tactics will be handed over to the president or just formed as a body," concluded Budiman.
