Vice President Values The Number Of Ministries In Government Is Enough

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said the number of ministries in the era of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) is currently in the ideal composition for the government in Indonesia.

The statement was made by the Vice President in response to questions about the discourse on increasing the number of ministry posts in the cabinet of the President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"The amount is that currently 34 is quite ideal in order for us to study it at that time is sufficient," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin after attending the halal bihalal event of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) in Jakarta, Tuesday, May 7, which was confiscated by Antara.

However, if the elected president and vice president view the increase in the number of ministry posts as a necessity, said the vice president, the discourse will allow it to be realized.

"But it could be more than that. If the language is 'lilhajah', if there is a need, maybe it could be more than that, I think," he said.

Previously, the discourse on adding a ministry post in Indonesia was conveyed by the Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, to reporters at the MPR/DPR/DPD RI building complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, May 6.

He said the discourse was reasonable considering that the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet would involve many parties.
