MKD DPR Will Summon Employer Brigadier RAT Regarding Counterfeiting Number Plates

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) will summon the owner of the Toyota Alphard car in the case of the death of Brigadier Ridhal Ali Tomi (RAT) to conduct an examination related to the use of the DPR number plate.

Deputy Chairman of the DPR MKD Nazaruddin Dek Gam, said that the summons of the employer of Brigadier RAT, Indra Pratama, who lives in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta was because his Alphard car was confirmed to be using a fake plate.

Because according to him, the use of numbers on the number plate is not in accordance with the administration of the DPR. The Alphard uses the DPR number plate with number 23-12.

"We will call them on the 15th (May), God willing, on the 15th. Enter the trial period," said Nazaruddin Dek Gam, Monday, May 6.

Nazaruddin ensured that there was no relationship between members of the DPR and a fake plated car related to the death of the RAT Brigadier in the Alphard car. Because he said, the leadership and members of the DPR used a number plate in accordance with registration.

"The result is already above 10, 23, it's forgery, it's clear forgery, it has nothing to do with the DPR," he said.

Nazaruddin assessed that car owners could face criminal penalties with a penalty of 6 years in prison as stipulated in Article 263 which is categorized as document falsification. Moreover, according to him, MKD has received three reports of using fake DPR number plates in the past month.

Apart from the Alphard, two other cars whose identities are not yet known are Mercedes G-Class and another Toyota Alphard.

"I haven't found anyone yet. Yesterday I called Dirlantas, I asked who the owner was. Later we will also give a letter. But if the suicide has been discovered," said Nazaruddin.

According to him, this summons is important for MKD to bring order to falsification of the number plate. Because this case has harmed members of the DPR.

"So the falsification of the TNKB DPR number plates is very disturbing for the community, it is very detrimental for us, the last two cases are now three cases," he concluded.
